St. Louis Training Dates

Sat. 1/25, 9 a.m.-noon,  TBD (probably John Burroughs School Library Auditorium, use North Parking Lot,
                                        755 So. Price Road, Ladue, MO) - Session One - Introduction & Rules
                                        Homework: 2003 Rules Test

Sat. 2/8, 9 a.m.-noon,    TBD (probably John Burroughs School), Session Two -
                                        Rules test graded & discussed & NCAA Tape
                                        - Head Coaches of EACH TEAM (V,JV,Fr) to attend this session -

Sat. 2/22, 9a.m.-noon,    TBD, Session Three - Mechanics of Lacrosse Officiating
                                       

Sat. 3/8, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.,    ABCSC, Session Four - St. Louis Jamboree - On Field Work

Thurs. 3/13 - Sun 3/16    Hazelwood Early-Season Tournament - On Field Work
                                       
(Sessions 1, 2, & 3 will have makeup dates available during weekday evenings.)

Fri Feb 7, 2003 6-9 p.m. Session Two -

Fri Feb 21, 2003 6-9 p.m. Session Three - Mechanics of Lacrosse Officiating

Sun Mar 9, 2003 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Session Four - On Field Work at "Kansas City Jamboree 2003"

(The following information is from last season - it may need to be updated.)

MALOA Requirements:
Must join US Lacrosse as an Official ($50) & buy training packet ($15)
Must complete 4-session basic training program and pass rules test.
Must join MALOA ($35), but fee is waved if you work the Jamboree.
Must purchase uniform. Some Equipment supplied after completion of 4-session basic training.

Pay for officiating: Two-Man Crew - Two games (Varsity followed by JV)
First year officials $45 + $35 = $80
MALOA Senior Official $50 + $40 = $90
MALOA Crew Chief $55 + $45 = $100
