Treasurer’s report was presented by outgoing treasurer Ren Pettinelli Committee Reports: 1. There was no report from the HS Women’s division. 2. A quick USLacrosse report was given by Ren Pettinelli. Bob Schulte and David Schmid were both in attendance and gave the report from the officials. They spoke of the need of better communication between the Board and Officials (ie. lack of minutes). In addition, they talked about the training of new officials and potential dates for training sessions. They also wanted to stress that we cannot continue to have as many changes to the schedule as we have had over the last two seasons. They suggested we reinforce our policy from last year that we charge teams $25 per change. New Business 1. Scheduling dominated this portion of the meeting.
It was decided that Saturday games would be limited to games that involved a team traveling more than 90 miles to play. (ie. Pembroke vs SLUH). This rule would not pertain to Saturday games starting after 5pm. 2. It was also announced that a team from Springfield (Glendale) is interested in starting a program. 3. Chris Goudy inquired about the need for 3 man games if there was a shortage of officials. While Jared Diamond wanted to know why only certain teams/games seemed to get 3 man games.
