The Lafayette Lancers Lacrosse club has been at the center of Missouri high school lacrosse since 1991.  Lafayette was the first school to start a high school program in Missouri during that year.  The Lancers won the Missouri State Championship in ’92, ’93 and ‘94.  The coaching staff has been together pretty much since the inception of the program.  Ren Pettinelli (Hobart) is Lafayette’s Head Coach.  He is assisted by the Lancers first Head Coach, Don Blumenthal (Towson State) and Jon Sonntag (former Lafayette standout).  Along with the three State Titles, Lafayette has won seven West Conference championships, was a Missouri State finalist twice (’97, ’99) and a Missouri State semi-finalist once ('05).

Two former Lafayette standouts, Matt Moehenhoff and Justin Wilkinson head up the JV and Freshman teams. The Lancers have six former All-Americans in Jake Blumenthal (’92, ‘93’, ’94), Peter Lamb (’96), Phil Schaefer (’97), Kevin Corcoran (’98), Justin Wilkinson (’99) and Lonny Blumenthal ('05).
