Motion passed. Our master schedule will be loaded into the system . It will also do the referee scheduling for games. Jason Fauss and Bob Schulte will look at the rating system and report back at a later meeting. C) Coaches certification—No one has gone through the MSHSAA non-teacher certification at this time. Matter was tabled until someone has attended. New Business Chaminade player eligibility—a Chaminade player does not meet the MSLA eligibility requirements for the 2006 season. He does not meet the requirement that he pass 70% of maximum allowable credits. Due to the fact that Chaminade offers 8 courses/day, and Ladue offers only 7, and he would be eligible to play there. A motion was made and seconded that the MSLA continue to enforce their current eligibility requirements (the same as MSHSAA). Motion was carried. MSHSAA sanctioning—Jay Coleman (KC Rockhurst) talked at length about the process and that MSLA needs to be considering it soon as the number of teams grows. We have 27 schools with teams for 2006. Coaches and parent reps need to be developing a relationship with their school’s Athletic Director. Insurance Certificates due at the Feb meeting and 15 man roster due in March. Coaches meeting Feb 11, 9 a.m. in DeSmet cafeteria. They will be taking the rules test. Encouraged that all coaches attend not just head coach. Jamboree in St Louis and KC Saturday, March 11.
