BOARD MEETING MINUTES

February 17, 2006

Call to Order

Ren Pettinelli called the meeting to order at 7:00pm.

Approval of Minutes

The minutes from the January meeting are posted on the website and were approved as posted.  

Treasurer’s Report

Treasurer unavailable to report.

Items Discussed:  

No meeting in March.  Next meeting is April 20, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. in Room #102, DeSmet High School.

Several teams have not paid their MSLA dues yet.  Dues must be paid by first game.  Send the payment to Ren Pettinelli.

Arbiter is up and running.  It will go live in the next few weeks.  There will be on-line training for coaches.

The rules meeting went very well in January.  There are 18 new referees being trained statewide.

April 9 is the training for youth lacrosse referees.  Youth lacrosse will be 5 Sundays with a guarantee of 2-3 games/Sunday for anyone who is interested in refereeing youth lacrosse.  Contact Bob Schulte at

US Lacrosse may pay for part of the youth official training.

Girls lacrosse is going before MSHSAA on April 24 for state recognition only.

Insurance certificates are due February 27.

15 man roster is due March 10.

12 game schedule that counts towards standings is due by March 1.  Send to Perry Saffer or Ren Pettinelli.
